Power Street is thrilled to launch this new program!
Land & Body o Tierra y Cuerpo
As we get older, there are less opportunities to escape the daily routine of our lives and return to imagination and play. But here’s your chance!
Power Street Theater Company is offering free adult theater classes taught in both English and Spanish at West Kensington Ministry. Students can choose to explore Experimental Theater or Playwriting with the resident artists of Power Street! Gain confidence, collaborate with your neighbors, and share your voice in this new program called Land and Body/Tierra y Cuerpo.
No experience necessary, just come to each class session ready to try! Classes are limited to fifteen (15) students. Registration is required by February 15th. To register please email powerstreettheatreco@gmail.com.
We encourage students to attend all 8 sessions to prepare for our public performance of student creations in May!

Playwriting led by Erlina Ortiz
Dive into playwriting with a chance to see their creations performed at our Theater en Las Parcelas performance series at Norris Square Neighborhood Project’s garden on May 11th.

Experimental Theater led by Gabriela Sanchez
Jump into the world theater making and storytelling with a public showing of their work.
Thursdays from 6:30-8:30
March 7-April 25
Class Dates: March 7, March 14, March 21, March 28, April 4, April 11, April 18, & April 25.
